He had been a sprinkler fitter for Pipe Fitters Union #536 in Baltimore.
He was a member of the American Legion, Towson, MD and was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Joan D. Adams of Selbyville, DE; 2 sons, Douglas J. Adams of Mullica Hill, NJ and Mark T. Adams of Charlottesville, VA; daughter, Kathleen M. Farrell of Doylestown, PA; 3 stepsons, Daniel Sweeney of Madison Heights, VA, Michael Sweeney of Baltimore, MD and Thomas Sweeney of Joppatown, MD; stepdaughter, Patricia Cassat of Selbyville, DE; sister, Maude A. Kern of Corpus Cristi, TX; and 8 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, April 26, 2004 at HASTINGS FUNERAL HOME, 19 S. Main St., Selbyville, DE where friends may call from 11am-12:30 pm.
