Mr. Add "A.D." Adams was born July 3, 1943 in Prentiss, Mississippi to the late Ed Adams and Mary Ann Payne. He attended school in Prentiss, Ms and later moved to Gulfport, Ms.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Payne, his father, Edd Adams, two brothers W.B. Berry and John Berry, and one sister, Ella R. Day.
After moving to Gulfport, Ms, Mr. Adams united with the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He also worked at the shipyard and as a Long Shore Man for many years.
Mr. A.D. Adams departed this life on October 24, 2008 at his residence. He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Ms. La'Chonda Handford of Gulfport, Ms. One brother, Mr. J.P. (Jennette) Berry of Gulfport, Ms. One sister, Ms. Mary Jane Harry of Prentiss, Ms. One grandson, Mr. Ethan Handford of Gulfport, Ms. 5 aunts, 1 uncle, and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The future is not ours to know And it may never be So let us live and give our best Never anticipating or doubting The power of our Savior Asking nothing of tomorrow except Thy will be done.
