Dennis--Mrs. John Daniel (Lou Lelia) Adair died at her residence on October 12, 1953, at the age of 57. She was the daughter of the late Josh and Nancy Butler Adams and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral services were the next day from the family residence. Burial followed in the Dean Cemetery with McMillan Funeral Home of Booneville in charge.
Mrs. Adair leaves her husband, two sons, Douglas Adair and wife Dellie, and Josh Adair and wife Louise; four daughters, Mrs. Woodrow (Shelia) Aldridge, Mrs. Mack (Flossie) Crosby, Mrs. Dub (Reba) Parsons, and Mrs. Melvin (Louise) Credille; one brother, Arden Bascum Adams and wife Martha; three sisters, Mrs. Simon (Donie) Wigginton, Mrs. Ruben (Pearlie) Williams, and Mrs. John (Permelia) Wilson.
She is preceded in death by 3 sons, John Grover Adair, an infant, and John Daniel Adair, Jr.; 2 brothers, Guy Adams and James Adams, and one sister, Matilda Williams.
