Abner was the father of James Adams,John(J N)Newton Adams,Sarah Cathryn Adams Helper and Amanda Adams Patterson.Abner lived and died in the Back Creek community in Rowan County North Carolina. * Grandaughter Mary Lula Patterson Bell Smith cites in notes she wrote in the 1940's that her grandfather was buried in Back Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Rowan CO. ,NC.
