Mrs. Adcock was a native of Marshall County, Alabama and a resident of Etowah County for a number of years. She had been employed with Holy Name of Jesus Hospital in Gadsden, Alabama for over twenty years and she was a member of Revival Tabernacle. Survivors include sons, Normal L. Adcock and Jerry Wayne Adcock; daughters, Mrs. Barbara Jo Johnson and Miss Gloria Adcock; sister, Mrs. Lois Malone; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
