Alpha Adcock, 79, retired farmer and rancher and a county resident 69 years, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, march 27, in Thomas Nursing Center, where he had lived several years. His home was in the Swearingen Community.
Mr. Adcock was born April 6, 1898 at Roby. He came here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Q. (Mary M.) Adcock in 1909.
He was married to Miss Oma Vernon in 1917 at Quail. She preceded him in death July 30, 1972.
Mr. Adcock was a member of the Wellington church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Calvin Adcock, of Denver, CO, a brother, Clarence Adcock of Mohave, AZ and three grandchildren.
