Mrs. Adcock entered into rest on Sunday, January 7, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of the Shreveport Stonewall area. She was retired from Lucent Technologies with thirty four years of service. She was a loving, compassionate person who always put others first. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Maurine Wall.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Charles Adcock; one son, Daryl Adcock and wife Melissa of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Melba Ratcliff and husband Bobby of Bossier City, La.; one brother, Jerald R. Wall and wife Martha of Shreveport, La.; three grandchildren, Kenzie Adcock, Jaden Lashley, Kortney Lashley; numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Pat Bristow.
The family would like to thank Dr. Massingill and his staff for their loving care.
