Betty Cromwell Adcock, 72, wife of Burnett Adcock, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg.
Betty was born March 20, 1940, in Carter County, Mo., to the late Robert Malcolm and Sarah Lee Jenkins Cromwell. She retired from the PX on Fort Lee.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Bluestone Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her children, Janice Elaine Flanagan of Newport Beach, Calif., Keith A. Adcock of Petersburg and Kenneth B. Adcock of Powhatan, and four grandchildren. Her sisters, Donna Quinn, Ophelia Romerro, Robie Shearrer and Geraldine Eaton, and brother, Robert Malcolm Cromwell, also survive.
