ADCOX, CHARLOTTE ANN STEELMAN - age 54, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, December 22, at Parkwest Hospital with her family at her side. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Kingston and also attended Victory Baptist Church in Kingston. Charlotte was a devoted Christian school teacher for over 32 years. During those years she taught at Mount Pisgah Christian Academy in Oliver Springs and Calvary Baptist School in Kingston. She was selected as the 1994 - 1995 teacher of the year in the states of Tennessee and Kentucky. She graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by father; Floyd Steelman, grandparents; James and Gretchen Turner and Nancy Steelman. Survived by her husband of 32 years, Billy Adcox; sons and daughters-in-law, Bryon and Loni Adcox of Riverside, California, Travis and Jenny Adcox of Knoxville; mother, Rubye Steelman of Harriman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Mary Steelman of Petros, Tennessee, Boyd and Carol Steelman of Harriman; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Dennis Fairchild of Harriman; brothers-in-law and wives, Keith and Vickie Adcox, Mike and Sherry Adcox, David and Martha Adcox; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, with the Reverends Garvan Walls, Ray Bearden, and James Jones officiating. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, at Calvary Cemetery in Kingston, with the Reverends Jeff Plemons and Eddie Chasteen officiating. In lieu of flower the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Pisgah Christian Academy P.O. Box 341 Oliver Springs, TN 37840. Online condolences may be made at www.rosemortuary.com.
