Avon Adderley, 76, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away on Sunday December 28, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice. She was born on April 18, 1938 in Quitman, GA and has been a resident of Saint Lucie County since 1954.
Avon retired from one of the local hospital as an Supervisor of Environmental Services after 35 years of employment. She was a member of Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald Griffin (Betty), Oliver Adderley, Edward Jackson (Peggy), daughters, Beverly Robinson (Fred), Michelle Adderley, Tetisha Paris, Sandra Diggins, Sophia Murrell, brothers, Wilbert Neloms (Mona), William Neloms Jr. (Gloria) of Fort Pierce, FL; Rufus Neloms, Miami, FL; sisters, Mantee Montgomery (Adolphus) of West Palm Beach, FL; Nebrask Way of Valdosta, GA; Arvilla Neloms of West Palm Beach, GA and Johnny Ruth Deboise (Johnny) of Fayetteville, NC; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Avon was preceded in death by her parents Fannie Carter and William Neloms.
Funeral service: Saint Mark’s Missionary Baptist Church, 921 Orange Avenue.
