Mrs. Wanda Addison Baker, 52, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born January 2, 1964 in Lancaster, a daughter of Charles A. Addison and Ruth Hinson Addison. Mrs. Baker attended New Horizon Community Church. Wanda deeply loved her family and friends. She loved all animals and never met a stranger. Her smile and laugh were contagious and her spirit was one of love and mercy. She loved God and knew she was saved. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Baker will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Steve Stewart and Rev. Dan Tweed officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband, Michael O. Baker of Lancaster; a son, C.J. Addison and his wife Ashlee of Lancaster; her father, Charles A. Addison and mother, Ruth Hinson Addison both of Lancaster; a step-son, Adam Baker and his wife Crystal of Wingate; a step-daughter, Brittany Pearson and her husband Ryan of Taylorsville, NC; two sisters, Holly Crump and her husband Clark of Lancaster and Ida Settle and her husband Jason of Inman; two grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.
