Mrs. Addison was born in St. Matthews September 16, 1931 a daughter of the late William Wallace Jones and Scherer Hungerpelar Jones. She was a Homemaker, and had been an active member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Cottageville for over 60 years, where she sang in the choir and was in the Ladies Afternoon Circle.
In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by a daughter, Frances A. Hughes (Billy) of Orangeburg, and by two sons, Wallace Allen Addison (Donna) and Jeff Addison (Cathy) all of Cottageville. She has a twin sister, Annette Hubbard of Florence, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at Parker-Rhoden funeral home, and memorials may be made to either Rehoboth UMC, P.O.B. 386, Cottageville, SC 29135 or to Hospice Care of SC, 134 Bells Highway, Walterboro, SC 29488.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rehoboth United Methodist church, with burial following in the Jordan Cemetery.
