Angelo C. "Addie" Addonizio of Medford, passed away, November 3, 2016.
Beloved husband of the late Annette "DeeDee" (Zito) and Gloria (Iacono).

Devoted father of Dr. Gerard Addonizio and his wife Dr. Linda Addonizio of Mount Kisco, NY, and the late Linda Lepore. Further survived by his stepson Sal V. Mucci of Swampscott.
Loving grandfather of four and loving great grandfather of four.

Angelo a Medford resident for most of his life, passed away peacefully, Thursday, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was the cherished son of the late Carmine and Carmelinda (Salone) Addonizio.

Addie worked as a talented meat cutter for many years. He started as a young boy working alongside his father at the family store in Boston’s North End, Addonizio Brother's Meat Market, which was started in the early 1900's. He eventually took over the family business and worked until his retirement in 1982. Addie was also a proud veteran of WWII. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945, seeing action in the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign.

He was also an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Military Honors and entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
