Funeral services for Agnes Adrian, 81, of Binford, were held January 25, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Binford. She died January 22, 197, at Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo, where she had been a resident since 1993.
Agnes Luella Underland was born July 30, 1915, near Belfield, ND, the daughter of Nels and Augusta (Bjorndal) Underland. She grew up and attended school at Belfield and graduated from Belfield High School in 1933. She received her teaching certificate from the State of North Dakota and taught school in western North Dakota for two years.
She married Arnold Adrian June 16, 1938, in Belfield. The couple farmed in the Binford area until retiring in 1975. They continued to make their home on the family farm. Arnold died November 10, 1981. Agnes moved to West Fargo in 1987.
Agnes was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Binford, and was active in church, Homemakers, and 4-H.
She is survived by three sons, Roger (Shirley) of Barnesville, MN, Lee (Maggie) of North Hollywood, CA, and Keith (Lana) of Minnetonka, MN; two daughters, Carol (Milton) Moen of West Fargo, and Doris (Dean) Giedt of Jamestown; one brother, Ernest of Belfield; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
