Contributor Jim Agar first suggested the belief that this Joyce Wheeler may well be the sister of actor John Agar. He provided a wedding photo that pictures Joyce with her husband John Rockwell Wheeler, her brother John Agar, and her sister-in-law Shirley Temple. Then GreenHills Stones Calling confirmed with marriage record & death record of Joyce's son, Mark, which both give Joyce's maiden name as "Agar." Marriage record reveals Shirley Temple Agar as witness.
