Albert James "Sam" Agee, 75, of Thomasville died April 24, 2006 at Southwest Alabama Medical Center in Thomasville.
He was born June 29, 1930 in Opine. He was a member of the Elam Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver for Dozier Oil Company.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Elizabeth Agee, Thomasville; three sons, Albert James (Sandra) Agee Jr., Mike (Pat) Agee, Joey (Denna) Agee, all of Thomasville; three sisters, Grace (Gaines) Adams, Martha (Cecil) Sims, all of Thomasville, Ruth (Truman) Mott, Coffeeville; two grandchildren.
The service was April 26 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville with Revs. Scott Myers and Randy Walker officiating. Burial with military honors was in the Bashan Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Jamie Agee, Kenneth Mott, Bruce Sims, Godfrey Vick, Mike Godwin and Rex Rush.

Honorary pallbearers were V.F.W. Post 5106, Thomasville High School Class of 1951 and Joe Dodds, James Haskew, Dennis Mott, Willis Slade and Winston Parden.
