Aida Aguinaldo went to be with our Lord on February 26, 2014 in Oklahoma City following a short battle with cancer. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, 2:00 pm at Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ken Harder presiding. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Aida was born in the Philippines on October 29, 1934 and raised 3 beautiful daughters with her husband Virgilio Aguinaldo. She was a school teacher who taught secondary education in the Philippines. She retired in 1991 to help take care of her grandchildren. In 1999, she moved to Stillwater to stay with her daughter Edralin Lucas. An avid gardener, she loved growing flowering plants and vegetables. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and socializing with family and friends. A devout Christian, Aida instilled the love of God and love of neighbor in her children and grandchildren. She was a very hard-working, loving, and compassionate person who cared deeply for her family and friends.

Aida was preceded in death by her husband, Virgilio Aguinaldo, father (Pedro Carreos), mother (Hospicia Carreos), sister (Nelly Marquez), and brother (Reynaldo Carreos).

Survivors include her daughters Edralin and her husband Mike Lucas, Geraldine and her husband Mark Camstra, Cecil and her husband Raul Teodoro, grandchildren Gerard Camstra, Kevin Camstra, Marco Camstra, Jaeden Camstra, Austin Lucas, Zoe Teodoro and Denise Teodoro, brothers Gil and Alejandro Carreos.
