He is survived by his wife, Becky Ahern; daughter, Jessica; son, Patrick; granddaughter, Janiah; father, Byron Ahern (Pat); brother, Gary Ahern and sister Leigh Ann Dodson (John). A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at 1308 Milton St., Norfolk.
