Catherine Aime was 89 years and a lifetime resident of Holden, Louisiana. She worked and retired after twenty years as a Resident Training Specialist at Hammond Developmental Center. She passed away on December 8, 2013 at Belle Maison Nursing Home.

Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston until funeral services. Burial will follow in Stafford Cemetery #1.

She was born September 2, 1924, daughter of Beatrice Virginia Gates Wascom and William David Wascom who preceded her in death; as well as, her husband Edward Thomas Aime, and a son, Thomas Richard Aime; four brothers, Neumay Bezet Wascom, Percy Beauregard Wascom, Clifton Harold Wascom, and William David Wascom.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Hammond, LA.

She is survived by four sisters, Lucille Kinchen, Doris Carney, Mildred Stewart and Rennie Stewart, a daughter, Julia M. Collins, four sons, Louis Michael Aime and wife Amy, David Charles Aime and wife Jeannette, Jimmy Ray Aime and wife Cathy, Dan Harold Aime and wife Carolyn. She is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include grandsons, Nathan Aime, Donnie Aime, Josh Aime, and Thomas Michael Aime, great grandson David Rumbelow, nephew Chalmous Stewart with alternate Craig Smith.
