According to an early history of Lourdes parish (www.germantownhills.com/lourdes/history), Anthony Aime arrived in the area in 1838. He was a sponsor at the first baptism held at Lourdes church on 11 Oct 1840. It is possible that he arrived in the US through New Orleans on 7 Dec 1836. Anthony "Amey" purchased land in Woodford County on 20 May 1841. He married Elizabeth Noil Bride on 23 Feb 1852 in Woodford Co, IL.

In the 1860 census of Worth Twp, Woodford, IL, Anton was living with his wife, Elizabeth, and their daughter, Mary. Their surname was spelled "Amey". He (misspelled "Emhi"). enlisted in Company B, Illinois 14th Cavalry Regiment on 07 Jan 1863. Mustered out on 31 Jul 1865 at Nashville, TN. In an 1880 census, surname "Amma", Anton and Elizabeth were living in Washington, Tazewell, IL.

Lourdes parish records say that he died at age 86, which is somewhat at odds with the date on his marker.
