Annie Ainley, 96, of Residence St. Antoine, Mendon Road, coordinator of activities at Butler Hospital, Providence, for 28 years before retiring 3 7years ago, died yesterday at the Landmark Medical Center-Woonsocket Unit.
Born in Bradford, England, a daughter of the late William and Emma (Jowett) Ainley, she moved from Providence to North Smithfield five years ago. Miss Ainley had also worked for the Bethany Home, Providence. She was a communicant of St. Paul Episcopal Church, Pawtucket.
She leaves a cousin, Robert Reichenberg of North Smithfield.
The funeral will be held Friday at a time to be announced from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
