MRS. ROBERT AITKEN
After a heart attack Monday at home, Mrs. Robert Aitken, 54, succumbed. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Durand Methodist Church, the Rev. Arvid Morey officiating. Burial will be in Cascade cemetery.
The former Pearl Rosetta Stewart was born July 25, 1913 at Red Wing, MN a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Roy Stewart. She was married June 30, 1933 to Robert Aitken and they resided at Durand since 1944.
Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Shirley) Buchanan of Sauk Centre, MN and Mrs. Maynard (Donna) Hanson of Nelson, 8 grandchildren and her father, Roy Stewart of Janesville. The body is being held in state at the Rhiel Chapel after 3 p.m. Thursday and until an hour before services Friday.
