Adelaide was the daughter of David and Julia Washeim, and a member of a prominent pioneer family at Wadsworth.

She married Emerson Ray Albee at Wadsworth, and the couple moved to Fallon, Nevada and later Truckee, California.

They moved to Reno shortly before Emerson's death in 1942, and Adelaide remained there until she died at a local hospital after a two-month illness.

She was a member of the Wadsworth Club in Sparks and Myrtle Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star in Fallon.

Burial was in the Albee family plot at Mountain View Cemetery.
