Henry Clinton Albee was born on 16 Jun 1834 at Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts, son of Clark and Viana (Holbrook) Albee, (Clark, Seth, James, James, James, Benjamin_1617).

On 21 Oct 1861, at The Battle of Ball's Bluff, Leesburg, Virginia, Henry was missing and listed as a prisoner at Richmond. About a year later, on 22 Nov 1862, Henry ended military service with the 15th Massachusetts due to disability.
