Anna E. Alber, 95, of 748 Shingle Lake Drive, Lake George, died Feb. 1 at the Clare Nursing Home after a lingering illness.
She was born on August 27, 1888, in Greenwood Township, the daughter of William and Carlinda (Haight) Hosler. Mrs. Alber had resided most of her life in Clare County.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marnie Brown of Lake George; 3 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren. Her husband Harry Alber preceded her in death in 1964.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 3 at 1 PM, from the Coker-Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison, with the Rev. Marvin Rosa officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Harrison.
