Born Dec. 15, 1917 in Raymondville, she had resided in Levelland for 42 years. She married Pedro Alcazar, Sr. on April 27, 1939 in Rio Grande City. He died May 5, 1975. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Guadalupe Anzaldua, a geandson, Jeff Alcazar, and a great-grandson, Tristin Darden. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Eva was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the foundation, the rock of our family. What she gave us, what she has left behind, was her love of live , her sense of humor, her faith, commitment to family and a strength like no other. Eva was not a teacher by trade, but we learned many life lessons from her: how to triumph with grace, dignity and elegance. She was a champion in our family and in life. Her life was blessed, rich with all that mattered to her- which was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We will miss her dearly. We will carry with us the gifts she so freely gave us in all that she did.
Survivors include four sons, six daughters, two sisters, a brother, sixteen grandchildren; and twelve great- grandchildren.
