ABPLANALP, Verneda 77, of Madison Township, died Sunday, July 10, 2016, at her home. She was born in Morehead, Kentucky on December 23, 1938 to parents Andrew and Carrie (Royce) Alderman. Verneda worked as a cook for the Butler County Head Start Program in Hamilton for 15 years, retiring in 2007. Mrs. Abplanalp is survived by her husband, Marvin Abplanalp; four children, Billie (Larry) Gregory, Andrew (Lea Ann) Abplanalp, Tyler (Kathy) Abplanalp & Lee (Jeff) Joslin; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dena Fultz; parents; and brothers, Jack Alderman & Richard Alderman. Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Ken Fey officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio, 7625 Camargo Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45234.
