Beverly J. Albright, 76, of Decatur, who was an English literature professor at the University of Chicago Lab School, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at Adams County Memorial Hospital. The Mount Lebanon, Pa., native retired in 1983 after 40 years of teaching. Surviving are her sister, Mary Nilsen of Decatur; eight nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Alderson Jr. Services are 8:30 p.m. today at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with calling from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Burial will be at Marcellus Cemetery, Marcellus, Mich.
