Born Dec. 12, 1912 in Jamestown, Kan., he went to school there and remained until 1940 when he came to Napa.
He was married to Helen Burdick in June 1937.
Mr. Anderson operated a ranch for many years on Green Island Road and worked 30 years at Mare Island, retiring seven years ago. He continued ranching until a month ago. He was a longtime member of the Napa County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Napa, daughters Mrs. Patricia Lindberg of San Diego, Mrs. Susan Johnson of Mill Valley and Mrs. Roberta Connaughton of San Jose, brothers Charles Andersen of Jamestown and Harry Andersen of Davis, sisters Mrs. Ida Hanson of Topeka and Mrs. Anna Hanson of Concordia, Kan., and four grandchildren.
