She was a wonderful daycare provider for many years before accepting a position as a home caregiver for CCAR Industries. She has been a long time member of the Friendship Baptist Church and a member of the Mattoon Women of the Moose.

Anita enjoyed a night out playing bingo but her greatest joys came from spending time with her family. She was an extremely selfless individual who put others needs before her own and was totally devoted to those she loved. Her family and friends will always treasure the countless memorable times shared.
