A. Wendell Aldrich of 251 North Main Street Pascoag, Rhode Island, long active in the Grange, died yesterday in Fogarty Hospital at the age of 77.
Mr Aldrich was a supervisor for the Slatersville Finishing Company, North Smithfield for over 29 years. He then worked for the Pontiac Finishing Company in Cranston and the Kendall Company in Walpole, Massachusetts retiring in 1973.
A member of the Chepachet Grange, past Master of Union Grange Slatersville and member of the Grange Association of Providence County,he was also a member of the Slatersville Congregational Church and the Senior Citizens of Burriville and Bradford Court. Born in North Smithfield and formerly of Providence Pike, he was the son of the late Warren A. and Arabelle(Ray)Aldrich.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. at Holt Funeral Home 510 South Main Street Woonsocket.
Burial will take place in Slatersville Cemetery
