A.J. ALDRIDGE, 69, died suddenly Saturday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tom WEBB, in Pratt-Mont... He slumped over suddenly as he was stricken with a heart attack, and death came within a very few minutes. The deceased was born in Chilton County, January 1st, 1866. He came to Prattville in 1908, and for years conducted a meat market here. Funeral services were held at Liberty Church Sunday afternoon... Burial was in the church cemetery with Griffin in charge. Surviving the deceased are two sons, W.L. of Marietta, Georgia, and G.C., of Sherman, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. W.L. TATUM, Clanton; Mrs. Maude MOORE, Sylacauga; Mrs. Tom WEBB, Mrs. G.F. FISCHER, and Mrs. Flossie BORDERS, of Prattville. Twenty-nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
