Avis Leatrice Aleshire, 79, of Luray, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1930, in Baltimore, Md., and was a daughter of the late Arthur Lewis and Pauline Virginia Roudabush Taylor.
On Dec. 3, 1967, she married Calvin Coolidge Aleshire, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a stepson, Dr. Stephen L. Aleshire of Athens, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
