On November 3, 2013, Anne Franklin Boyle Alexander of Washington, DC passed away at her home at the Knollwood Retirement Community. Daughter of banker Norman Bruce Boyle and homemaker Ethel Franklin, Mrs. Alexander was born November 15, 1922 in Westminster, MD. Her husband of 36 years, Captain William H. Alexander II, passed away in 2003. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Carbery Boyle Morrow of Timonium, Maryland and Elizabeth Boyle Neal of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at the Church of the Annunciation, 3810 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. A private burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to the Annunciation Catholic Church.
