City Purchasing Agent, Dies

Kossuth E. Alexander, city purhasing agent, died yesterday at the Eitel hospital, after an illness of more than a year with anemia. He had been confined to the hospital since October 14. Mr. Alexander lived at 3131 Girard avenue south. He was 41 years old, and had been city purchasing agent ten years. He is survived by three sons, Milburn, 20; William, seven, and Robert, 14 months. Mrs. Alexander, brother, Fred, of Sioux Falls, S. D., and a sister at Wakefield, Neb., also survive. Funeral services will he held at 2 p. m. tomorrow, at Lakewood chapel.
