Mrs. Abdum-Muhaymin died on Saturday, Dec. 17th & her burial followed funeral services that were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 22nd at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church. Father Jude Duffy officiated. She is survived by her husband, Jibril (Buster Green) Abdum- Muhaymin; her parents, Dr. John Eugene II & Diane Alexander; grandparents, Otis & Lavenia Young; brother & sister-in-law, John Eugene III & Tonya Alexander; sisters, Tamara Alexander & Stacey Alexander; uncle & aunt, Hezekiah & An Marie Simmons; cousins, Greg Simmons & Jennifer Simmons; niece, Jaelin Alexander, and many other relatives. She was predeceased by grandparents, Dr. John Eugene, Sr. & Bobbie P. Alexander. Long & Son Mortuary Service of Charlotte assisted the family with the arrangements.
