AUGUSTA, Ga.- Charles T. 'Chuck' Alexander, III, age 44,of Augusta, entered into rest on Sunday afternoon, May 16, 2004 at his residence. A native of Augusta, he had been a lifelong resident of the area, except for short stays in Atlanta and Charleston. A respected and renowned Hair Designer, Chuck had owned and operated Alexander's in Augusta for over 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. Alexander, II and Charlotte, who passed away in 2003. He is survived and will be missed by his brother, Ward Augustus Alexander, Kennesaw; his sisters, Paula Alexander McCullers, Kennesaw, Ga., Lynn Alexander Day, Lafayette, Ind., Carol Alexander Bateman, Martinez, Ga., Lisa Pendelton Burgess, Augusta, Ga., numerous nieces and nephews, The CTA III Club, and many dear friends including his best friend and buddy, Trapper. A memorial gathering will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, today, May 19, 2004 in the Fuqua Gardens of Westover Memorial Park.
