1) ABRAHAM ALEXANDER - DAR #A001122

A description of his grave begins on page 196, beginning with the last paragraph on the page.

The inscription for his cemetery marker can be seen at the top of page 197.

The author of this book, named Rev. William Henry Foote, served as a Presbyterian minister in NC. The name of his book was "Sketches of North Carolina, Historical and Biographical, Illustrative of the Principles of a Portion of Her Early Settlers", which was published in New York in 1846. This book is also known by the nickname of "Foote's History of North Carolina". The copyright on this book has expired, and it is now available as an ebook at no charge.
