ALFORD, Sr., Charles Jack, 78, a resident of Ramer, AL died Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 10AM from the Ramer United Methodist Church, Rev. Sean Rezek officiating. Burial to follow in the Ramer Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Survivors include a son, Charles (Butch) Alford, Jr. (Janice) of Wetumpka, AL; granddaughter, Missy Guy (Kevin) of Montgomery, AL; grandson, Mickey Alford (Daphne) of Alabaster, AL; great-grand-daughter, Karmen Guy; great-grandson, Colton Alford; sisters, Lillian Duffell of Ramer, AL; Joyce White (Jim) of Niceville, FL; brothers, EB (Snookie) Alford of Ramer, AL; Bob Alford (Mary Alice) of Opelika, AL; Jimmy Alford (Madelyn) of Montgomery, AL; sisters-in-law, Mary Alford and Viola Ludden (Forest) both of Montgomery, AL; Betty Jean Moore (AV) of Letohatchee, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maurine Hudson Alford. Pallbearers will be Ed Alford, Chuck Heath, Billy Spivey, Kris Spivey, Jason Hall, Kenny Alford, Robert Alford, Dan Atkins.

He was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Cullman Elks Lodge #1609 and a member of the Alcazar Shrine Temple of Montgomery.
