Doris Darlene, Wilson Allanson 66, Greenwood. The Indianapolis Colts lost their #1 fan, Doris Darlene Allanson, on Oct. 5, 2003. Born Doris Darlene Wilson on December 25, 1936 to Bernard and Clara Louise Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Scott Allanson; children, Sherri Lynn York, Bartlett, TN, Rhonda Kay Harmon, Burke, VA, Wayne Scott Allanson, Greenwood, and Tracy Reed Allanson, Bargersville; eight grandchildren; sister, Edie Thompson, Indianapolis; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Louise Wilson; father, Bernard E. Wilson; brother, Bernard Earl Wilson; and sisters, Jonelle Mondelli and Bernice Jennings. Darlene was a member of the Colt Blue Crew fan club. She was also an avid bowler for 50 years and a member of WIBC. She was an active member of Beech Grove Moose Chapter No. 1589 and Auxiliary No. 4167 of the Eagles, Beech Grove. Mrs. Allanson was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She was employed 12 years for Airtron Heating and Cooling retiring in 2001 as a billing clerk and previously employed by Midwest Tank as an accounts receivable clerk for 18 years, H & B Manufacturing for 5 years as an accounts receivable clerk and Cornelius Printing Co. as a clerk for 3 years. Services: 10 a.m. Oct. 8 in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Burial: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions to American Heart Association .
