Buried near his grandparents Richard and Sally Allanson.
Have had info that he was born in Belle Fourche, Butte County, SD. (Find a grave doesn't seem to let me enter the info)
His mother died in 1918. He was in census after that time but didn't appear to be with his father in Downers Grove.
Having trouble locating his father. I have found social security records that state in 1977 there was a name change for father (could this have been for a childs record?). I found a person by the name Edwin W. that died in Kenosha, Wi. I found the gravestone but it states Edwain not Edwin. Also not sure if this was him. In 1930 census he was in Downers Grove boarding with a family and was listed as a widower.
Donald also has two known siblings.
Elnora (82539800) married Samuel Wyant.
Martin, the youngest of the siblings, I MIGHT have found a marriage certificate for him ( parents were correct), name was Martin Brown who married Geraldine. Possibly adopted ??
