Adrianne Teague Allen died on January 9, 2014. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her father Raymond Monroe Teague, mother Vida Brown Teague, and brother Raymond Monroe Teague Jr. Mrs. Allen was born in Birmingham Alabama. She is survived by her husband E. Fletcher Allen, brother Clarence Brown Teague (Martha), son Fletcher Allen Jr. (Vickie), daughter Elizabeth Allen Jones (Charlie), and four grandsons; Josiah, John-Caleb, Isaac Vacheresse, and Fletcher Allen III. Mrs. Allen is also survived by three nephews and two nieces in Mobile Alabama. She graduated from Phillips High School in 1950. She was a member of the Civettes Club. She graduated from Massey Business College. Mrs. Allen was a member of Canterbury United Methodist Church for forty years. One of the highlights of her life was having her book Sheilas Showbiz Days published. She enjoyed singing and performing and was a singing nun in The Sound of Music. She was a loving mother and outstanding grandmother. All who knew her enjoyed her humor, wit and love of life. The visitation will be at Ridouts Valley Chapel in Homewood Alabama on Saturday January 11, 2014 at 10:00am-11:00am immediately followed by the service. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
