The Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, WI) Tue 10 Jan 1905, Pg 1:
The remains of Ruth Allen, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. L. P. Allen, will arrive in the city this evening on the 7:11 Chicago and Northwestern train from West Bend, Ind. where her death occurred. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the late residence, 34 Mt. Vernon street. Rev. John W. Greenwood of Trinity Episcopal church will officiate. Interment will occur at Riverside cemetery.

The funeral of the late Ruth Allen, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. L. P. Allen, was held this morning with services at 10:30 o'clock at the late residence, 34 Mt. Vernon street. Rev. J. W. Greenwood, rector of Trinity episcopal church, officiated. Mrs. Frank Josslyn sang several selections. There was a large attendance and numerous floral offerings. The remains were placed temporarily in a vault at Riverside cemetery.
