Mrs. Alice Allen, 71, passed away Monday afternoon at her residence, 109 Prospect avenue.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Manuel, she was born in Allenville, Aug. 4, 1871, and attended the Oshkosh grade and high schools. On Aug. 28, 1888, she married Homer Allen, residing in Oshkosh ever since. Her husband preceded her in death in 1920. Her mother passed away April 29, 1942.
Mrs. Allen was a member of the Rebekah lodge. .
Survivors-are a daughter, Mrs. George Usher, Ashland, Neb. and a sister, Mrs. Robert Brennand, Oshkosh.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, -109 Prospect avenue, with the Rev. Jesse Pindell Peirce officiating. The Rebekahs will conduct a service at the Riverside chapel after which interment will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the residence from this evening until the time of the services.
