Ruth Cavins, 88, of Morganfield, died at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Morganfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Morganfield. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Uniontown. She had worked at S & W Covenient Store and French's Super Market. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cavins in 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Sue Miller and her husband, Jack, of Morganfirled; one son, Wayne Cavins of Morganfield; two grandchildren, Lanae Coker and Kelly Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Trey and Emily Taylor; nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Uniontown with Father Terry Devine and Father Freddie Byrd officiating. Burial was in St. Agnes Catholic Church Cemetery in Uniontown. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Agnes Catholic Church Building Fund.
