CARSON CITY - Florence Marie Allen died Monday in a Carson City care center.
A native of Newman Grove, Neb., she had lived in Carson City for the past eight years, coming from Sunland, Calif.
Mrs. Allen was a retired secretary for a life insurance company and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 1956.
Surviving is a niece, Lois Klingman of Alda, Neb.
A funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, with burial in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Newman Grove.
