ABNEY, Ruby 75 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at home with her family after a long battle with Leukemia. Born May 14, 1931 in Jackson County, Tennessee, Daughter of the late Rosie (Jackson) and Perry O'Dell Allen. She was preceded in death by husbands Delmon Reeder, Louis Dozier and Woodrow Abney (PaPaw); sister, Vela Dailey and brothers, Clodus (Dog), Robert and Lannie Allen. Survived by sister Daisy Carr (and Nick) of Tennessee and brothers, Shirley (and Jan) and Earl Allen of Dayton and Clyde (and Margaret) Allen of Missouri. Also surviving is daughter Debbie Walker and grandchildren Shawnda and Virgil Conley, Michelle Jewell, Angie Jewell and Ray Deshon, Leon Jr. and Leeanna Jewell, as well as daughter Janice and Donnie Wright and grandchildren, Eric and Jolene Faris, Stacy Faris and Mark Weaver, Christine Faris and David Sommers. Ruby was blessed with 23 great-grandchildren and one (soon-to-be) great-great grandson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday January 12, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - EAST THIRD STREET CHAPEL, 1817 East Third Street, Dayton. Reverend Garnell Crawford officiating.
