Sandy, UT-Aleene Graham Allen passed away on Aug 19, 2015. She was born in Murray, Utah on Feb 15, 1935 to Clifford and Arvil Graham.
Aleene was truly a Christ like daughter of God. She was a wonderful mother and adored her grandchildren. She always put the needs of others before her own and was frequently found serving her friends and neighbors. She served for many years on the Relief Society compassionate service committee and held many other Church callings. She loved tending her garden and finding a treasure at a yard sale.
Aleene worked many years as a teacher's aide at Granite Park Junior High and influenced the lives of many students. She will be remembered as sweet, kind, giving and a true saint. She will be truly missed.
She is survived by her children Michael (Joni), Ron (Mary Ellen), Shawn (Meghan) and Leslie Richards (Ryan). Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Myron W. Allen and her son, Jerry. She is survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Hyland Lake Ward, 981 E. Revere Circle, (5550 So.). Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr. and also from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the Ward.
