Ada Venna Brady Huggins Allen, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away March 31, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ada, the eighth of nine children, was born May 2, 1917, in Fairview, Sanpete County, UT to Marion Jehu Brady and Celestia Castle Jones.
She married Farrell D. Huggins in 1932. Later divorced.
Married Richard L. Allen Sept 18, 1969, in Elko, NV. Their happiness was beautiful to see.
Ada was a member of the LDS Church and had many church callings and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She loved camping, fishing, quilting, crocheting, embroidery, ceramics, reunions but mostly she loved her family!
She is survived by her husband, Richard; six children, three sons, Darrell Dee (Elaine) Huggins, Rex D. (Merlene) Huggins, Wayne Huggins; three daughters, Venna (Bob) Hilton, Shirley Gardner, Kerry (Byron) White; one sister, Leda (Art) Hansen; sister-in-law, Lois Brady; 18 grandchildren; and 27-1/2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Emma Huggins.
Services will be Tues. April 3, 2001, 11 a.m. at the Salt Lake LDS First Ward chapel, 760 E. 700 S. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, and Tues. at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
