Daughter of Jesse Overlander and Miriam H. Black (both born Pennsylvania). Anna Laura was with her parents in 1870 at Cadiz, Ohio; in 1880 at Blairstown, Iowa and in 1885 at Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
She married first about 1887 to Thomas Wilkinson (born about 1865 in England, immigrated to the U.S.A. about 1883). Thomas, Laura and their only son Jesse were at Tacoma, Washington in 1910.
